When Mark Kirby came to us with a Nebbiolo that was a little left of centre and out of whack for their stable we were more than happy to adopt it as one of our own, particularly after they’d lost part of the vineyard to bushfires.
On the nose: Rose, cherry and a hint of anise. In the mouth: Medium body, light tannin, red fruits and an inkling of leather.
The wine was bottled without fining or filtration and minimal sulphites were added. We suggest serving this wine slightly chilled.
